Podversations is a part of a small business, Untypical Media and proudly located in Geelong, Victoria. We have been involved in community and online broadcasting since 2007 and created our first podcast in 2015.

Since then, podcasting has become a very popular medium for people to entertain, engage and inform their audiences and for their audiences to consume content at a time that suits them. And with the lockdown events of 2020 and 2021, it seems that everyone tried their hand at podcasting with varying levels of success.

There are several types of podcasts. Entertainers use podcasts to entertain. Subject matter experts use podcasts to inform and, sometimes, to show the world how clever they are.

We focus our time and effort on one particular format - the conversational podcast. We like to call these podversations. We think that, more than ever, people are looking for ways to re-engage with their community and with the organisations they belong to. Businesses are looking to re-engage with their customers - existing and potential.

And we think that the best way to do that is with a series of podversations.

We are not expert audio engineers who will produce a clear, high-fidelity sound file at great expense. We do not operate expensive studios and big name presenters to attract a nationwide audience. Those services are certainly available across Australia but as you'd expect, they come at a very high cost.

No, we are facilitators of podversations. We think that we are really good at chatting to people and extracting their story. We record the conversations and produce audio files that sound great on your mobile device (after all, that is where the vast majority of people will listen). We can also coach you to create your own podcasts, if you'd prefer to do that.

We want to create engaging podversations with or for you and to help you distribute them.
